My omi, or grandma, moved to America from Germany when she was a teenager, so that she could become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Unfortunately, she did not get to share many traditions from her culture, meaning I have very little German influence in my life. I want to learn more about the country she came from.

Aside from the general knowledge most Americans have about Germany, I do not know much about its culture, social norms, or geography. I find this sad since I’m one-quarter German.
